Sourcing a custom fiberglass sculpture for a park, mall, hotel or municipal project? You need a factory that holds detail at scale, finishes fiberglass to look like bronze or stone, crates it to survive an ocean voyage, and guides installation on site. Wensculp has done exactly that since 1972.
A sculpture manufacturer since 1972 — modeled, molded, hand-laminated and finished in-house across FRP / GFRP, animal, figure, abstract and mascot work. No middleman, and a 3D model or clay master you approve before we build the mold.

Eight stages, all under one roof. Every WENSCULP project is built by the same design and casting team that has produced national-level public artwork for over 50 years.
Create 3D models or renderings based on sketches, photos, orthographic views, or physical references.
CNC rough carving and manual refining of foam, ideal for large, geometric, or cartoon sculptures.
Divide modules based on structure; create silicone split molds with plaster outer jackets for stability.
Layer resin with fiberglass mats and cloths to form the FRP body through a manual composite process.
Demold, trim, and sand joints; assemble components with internal fiberglass overlap for reinforcement.
Construct galvanized steel frames with connection points and ribs to ensure overall structural integrity.
Apply professional finishes and a UV-resistant topcoat to enhance durability under outdoor sunlight.
Provide protective packaging, install on-site, repair seams, and clean for final quality acceptance.
Surface Options
The finish is what makes a fiberglass sculpture read as premium art rather than a molded prop.
The look and patina of cast bronze at a fraction of the weight.
For classical and architectural pieces.
High-gloss, durable color for modern commercial work.
Lifelike color for animals, figures and mascots.
For abstract and contemporary installations.
Pricing
Cost is always project-specific, but five factors drive the price.
| Project | Indicative range (USD) |
|---|---|
| Life-size fiberglass animal or figure | $1,000 – $3,000 |
| Standard ~3 m (10 ft) statue | $5,000 – $8,000 |
| Custom ~4.5 m (15 ft) abstract | $12,000 – $20,000 |
| Monumental / mascot 6 m+ (20 ft+) | $30,000+ |
Ranges are for guidance only and vary with design, finish and quantity. As a direct-factory supplier we quote transparently with no middleman markup.
Logistics
Because fiberglass is light, freight is far cheaper than for bronze or stone of the same size — one of the material's biggest hidden advantages for overseas buyers.
Factory-direct production, engineered crating, transit-insurance options and installation guidance — one accountable partner from mold to mounting.

From life-size to monumental fiberglass statues
We engineer the internal steel armature, lay up the fiberglass in sections where needed, and assemble seamlessly on site so the joins disappear into the form. Large outdoor work is reviewed for wind and structural loads before fabrication.
Anchor plates and foundation drawings are supplied for your contractor, so the sculpture is engineered for permanent display before it ships.

By Application
Different spaces need different scale, finish and engineering. We have delivered for all of them.
Animal, figure and abstract pieces that anchor parks, gardens and public greens.
Eye-catching mascots and decorative statues that draw footfall and photo stops.
Large themed and character sculptures built for high-traffic outdoor display.
Statement figure and abstract pieces for lobbies, atriums and grounds.
Residential and commercial landscape sculpture for developers and designers.
City and cultural pieces where scale and budget both matter.
Material Comparison
Choosing the right material is the first decision on any project. Here is how fiberglass compares — honestly — against the other materials we make.
| Fiberglass (FRP) | Bronze | Stone / Marble | Stainless Steel | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weight | Very light (density 1.5–2.0) | Heavy | Very heavy | Heavy |
| Best for scale | Large & giant, cost-controlled | Monuments, permanence | Carved detail, permanence | Abstract, modern, reflective |
| Outdoor durability | 10+ yrs with proper finish | Lifetime | Lifetime | Lifetime |
| Design freedom | Highest (any form/color) | High | Limited by carving | Limited by forming |
| Relative cost | Lowest at large scale | High | High | Medium–High |
| Lead time | Shortest | Long | Long | Medium |

Why Fiberglass
Four properties make fiberglass the default material for large outdoor and commercial installations.
Density 1.5–2.0 — a fifth of steel — with comparable tensile strength. Lower freight, simpler foundations, faster installation.
Won't rust or rot. With a correct gelcoat and topcoat it holds color and form outdoors for 10+ years.
Molded construction sets almost no limit on shape. Finish glossy, matte, painted, or as bronze / copper / stone.
TFiberglass (FRP) provides a highly cost-effective solution, utilizing reusable molds to drive down unit pricing for bulk and repeat orders.
Why WENSCULP

FAQ
Yes. Properly laminated and finished fiberglass resists water, UV, corrosion and temperature change, making it a standard choice for outdoor and high-traffic settings. It will not rust or rot, and its light weight reduces structural stress on mounts and foundations.
With a correctly specified gelcoat and topcoat system and periodic cleaning, a professionally made fiberglass sculpture lasts 10+ years outdoors. Finish quality — not the fiberglass itself — determines lifespan, which is why we specify the coating system for each installation.
Yes. We apply bronze, copper and stone-imitation finishes, including antique patina work, so a fiberglass piece can carry the appearance of a much heavier, more expensive material at a fraction of the weight and cost.
Cost depends on size, design complexity, finish, quantity and shipping. As a guide, a 1–2 m custom sculpture runs around $1,450–$4,500, a 3–5 m outdoor statue around $9,000–$27,000, and 5 m+ giant landmarks from $27,000. As a direct factory we quote transparently with no middleman markup.
Yes. We work from your drawing, rendering, reference photos or a maquette, approved as a 3D model or clay master before we build the mold and lay up the fiberglass.
Yes. We fabricate fiberglass sculptures from tabletop scale to life-size and monumental works, reinforced with an internal steel armature for large outdoor pieces and installed on site.
Most custom fiberglass sculptures take 30 to 50 days depending on size, finish and complexity, plus shipping. Because fiberglass is molded rather than metal-cast, it is usually faster than bronze. Monumental commissions are scheduled individually.
"Resin" usually refers to smaller solid cast pieces, while a fiberglass (FRP/GFRP) sculpture uses glass-fiber reinforcement in the resin — making it far stronger and lighter for large and outdoor work. For statues at architectural scale, fiberglass is the correct specification.
