Feature continuous, sweeping openwork streamlines resembling the form of an open book with soft, fluid lines.
Echo the “Talent flourishes in Chu” scholarly heritage, utilizing book page imagery to symbolize the vast sea of knowledge and Wuchang’s cultural depth.
Jianghan Road Station: “High Heels” Art Seating
Feature a geometric modular sculpture that integrates multiple seating units into a cohesive, functional installation.
Reflect the urban fashion of the century-old Jianghan Road commercial district, utilizing high heels as a symbolic motif to resonate with the area’s trendy energy.
Zhongshan Park Station: “Playful Piglets” Art Seating
Feature a series of rounded, abstract piglet-shaped stainless steel stools arranged in staggered sizes to create a playful, rhythmic composition.
Reflect the “Sense of Happiness” theme of the adjacent recreation park, utilizing childlike piglet motifs to accommodate both adults and children while energizing the transit environment.
Hankou Railway Station: “Water Lily & Lotus Leaf” Art Seating
Feature a simulated water lily and lotus leaf composition, utilizing the leaf as a functional seating surface and the stem as structural support.
Reflect the “Summer Water Lily” imagery of Hubei’s lotus ponds to offer weary travelers a sense of tranquility and a visual expression of Jing-Chu water culture.
